A 13-year-old girl, missing from Concord from more than a month, was found safe in Hanson on Friday, according to Concord and Hanson police.
The teen went missing from Concord on Jan. 8 but her photo and description was released to the media Thursday with an appeal to the public for help locating her (since the child is a minor, her name and image has been removed from The Concord Bridge website).
Search efforts were focused around Hanson and other communities where she was believed to have connections. Investigators were confident the girl was not in Concord, because she has no ties to the community.
On Friday afternoon, Hanson Police, Concord Police, and Massachusetts State Police located her unharmed.
