Friday, Feb. 24
9:18 a.m. Police were called to a disagreement in the Baker Avenue parking lot over damage to a vehicle. Minor damage observed. Papers were exchanged.
10:12 a.m. The railroad signal lights at the Commonwealth Avenue crossing were activated with the gates not lowered. Police did not see a train. Keolis was notified.
10:21 a.m. Police were called to Macone Pond on Lowell Road for a report of a raccoon hit by a vehicle, causing a hazard. Police removed the raccoon from under the vehicle, which then headed up Pond View Lane with a possibly injured leg. Animal control was advised.
11:38 a.m. A disabled box truck was towed from Route 2 and Old Road to Nine Acre Corner to the Emerson Hospital parking lot.
12:33 p.m. A person from Care One on ORNAC spoke to an officer about a missing ring reported by the daughter of a patient discharged earlier.
3:34 p.m. Police responded to a collision on Conant Street at Laws Brook Road and issued a written warning to one motorist for failure to use care in turning.
9:42 p.m. A passerby reported a vehicle operated erratically on Route 2 at ORNAC. Police checked to the Acton town line and did not find the car.
9:56 p.m. A homeowner on McCaller Lane reported a white sedan passing by the home multiple times at slow speeds.
10:11 p.m. Police stopped a car on Bedford Street and Bedford Court and issued a citation.
Saturday, Feb. 25
9:46 a.m. A caller reported losing her Prius key in Monument Square. Police did not find it.
10:54 a.m. Police stopped a vehicle on Main Street by Concord Academy and issued a summons for operating with a revoked registration and uninsured vehicle.
11:13 a.m. Police responded to a call from Stow Street about a dog barking outside at a neighboring residence for an hour. Police did not hear anything.
2:11 p.m. A resident of Barrett’s Mill Road filed a report regarding speakers from his moving company that were lost.
5:06 p.m. A Barnes Hill Road resident reported finding a trash bag full of clothes and linens at the end of his driveway and wanted the items to be identified. The bag was taken to the station for disposal.
Sunday, Feb. 26
7:23 a.m. Police checked on a possible disabled vehicle on Route 2 at ORNAC but found the driver was looking for directions to Emerson Hospital and followed the police to the hospital.
11:38 a.m. Police stopped a vehicle on Route 2 and issued a summons for no inspection, revoked registration and uninsured vehicle. The motorist waited at Pump and Pantry for a ride.
5:53 p.m. Police got a 911 call from a woman who said she was involved in a minor two-car crash on Route 2 at Walden Street. No airbag deployment. Police issued one driver a written warning for failure to use care.
9:11 p.m. A caller checked to see if anyone had turned in a set of keys that she lost a day before. Keys described as having a Prius fob, multiple keys and Shaws and Stop and Shop cards on it. Police did not find the fob.
Monday, Feb. 27
9:50 a.m. Police got a call from the commuter rail train stating they received a call about children playing on the tracks east of Sudbury Road. Police checked and did not find anything.
11:41 a.m. A Kenney Lane resident turned over a BB rifle for safekeeping.
2:52 p.m. A person turned in a XL Nautica blue winter coat she found inside her unlocked silver Toyota Corolla while it was parked on Walden Street. She thought the jacket may have been put in her car by someone who mistook her car for theirs. The pockets were empty. After a couple of hours when no one claimed the jacket it was entered into property.
3:40 pm. A person reported his vehicle was struck in the Concord Academy parking lot while he was in class. There was significant damage to the bumper.
9:48 p.m. A caller reported his car broke down on Whittemore Street and Sudbury Road. He said it was off the road and not believed to be a hazard. He arranged for a tow by AAA.
11:47 p.m. The public works department requested a vehicle be removed for snow removal in front of the Colonial Inn. The vehicle owner was contacted to move the car.
Tuesday, Feb. 28
3:08 a.m. Overnight parking citations were issued on Hubbard Street, Birch Drive and the West Concord depot.
7:54 a.m. A caller on Hayward Mill Road reported his neighbor’s plow company plowed snow from their driveway into his yard. Police spoke to the neighbor.
8:08 a.m. A Baker Avenue employer reported a former employee failed to return company-owned computer equipment.
8:19 a.m. Police received a radio call from the fire chief reporting a collision at the Route 2 rotary between a MassDOT plow and a car carrier. The driver of the car carrier advised he had pulled over by the Northeast Correctional Center.
8:59 a.m. The highway department reported a vehicle parked at the water treatment plant covered in snow. The plate was covered and could not be identified. Police issued a parking citation.
9:16 a.m. The gates were reported stuck down at the Commonwealth Avenue railroad crossing. Keolis was notified to check it.
2 p.m. Two small trees were reported down on Old Marlboro Road and Blueberry Lane partially blocking the road. Public works cleaned up the trees.
3:06 p.m. A caller reported a tall man wearing a gray skull cap and gray trench coat was reportedly asking for money from businesses and people on Main Street. Police found the man who wanted money for the train. He was moved along.
5:53 p.m. A Stone Root Lane resident reported a neighbor was blowing snow from their driveway into the street and the caller’s yard. Police did not find snow in the road or the driveway. The neighbor was advised of the complaint and the town bylaw.
6:24 p.m. Staff at the Residence Inn on Baker Avenue received multiple complaints from guests about a vehicle in the lot with its alarm sounding. The guest shut off the car alarm.
Wednesday, March 1
1:35 p.m. Police received a call reporting a van blocking the sidewalk on Old Marlboro Road between Upland and College roads. The van was moved off the sidewalk.
2:33 p.m. A staff member at the Middlesex Savings bank reported a customer walked into the bank to use the Wi-Fi who smelled of alcohol. The person told the staff he wasn’t going to rob the bank but he is around people who will. The person left the bank on foot, dressed in a black shirt and jeans. Police located the man near Main Street and Brook Trail Road and informed him of the complaint.
Thursday, March 2
2:23 a.m. State police received multiple calls about an erratic driver on Route 2 and Sandy Pond Road toward Lincoln. Police were unable to locate the car.
4:22 a.m. A Beharrell Street resident reported he was retrieving his mail in the main entrance when an unknown man walked in and promptly left the building, got into his vehicle, shut all the lights off and drove away. Police were unable to find the man.
7:40 a.m. A caller reported driving on Monument Street and saw a black Tesla driving erratically, tailgating and passing over the double yellow line, heading toward Lincoln. The Lincoln Police Department was notified.
10:53 a.m. A caller reported he struck a parked car on Everett Street. and wanted to contact the owner. Police left information on the windshield.
11:11 a.m. A non-electric car was parked at a charging station on Main Street. Police issued a courtesy tag.
1:17 p.m. Police issued a warning for failure to stop for a stop sign to the driver involved in a collision on Lowell Road at Barnes Hill Road. No injuries.
1:52 p.m. An Elsinore Street caller reported her dog ran out of the house and she was unable to find him. Animal control was advised.
6:12 p.m. The front desk staff at the Residence Inn reported a disturbance with a guest who has a past history of alcohol related offenses.
6:43 p.m. An Elsinore Street resident filed a dog complaint about a white dog being off leash and roaming in the front yard and ran across the street and attacked the caller and her dog walking in the area. Animal control was notified.
