Runway for Recovery plans annual Love Local event

May 18, 2023

The second annual Love Local event for Runway for Recovery is set for Thursday, May 25 on Walden Street in downtown Concord from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Love Local is a night to honor those impacted by breast cancer and support the local businesses. Community members, Tricia Writer and Becca Muse-Orlinoff, will talk about their personal connections with breast cancer.

When volunteers of Love Local went to local businesses to ask for their involvement, the response was gratifying. The Milldam part of Walden Street will be shut down to allow guests to mingle, chat, shop and sip. The Concord Cheese Shop will be serving special appetizers and 90+ Wines will be offering drinks on the street. Stores on Main and Walden Streets will be staying open late so you can shop during and after the event, all giving a percentage of proceeds back to Runway.

This is sure to be an unforgettable night for all involved so grab your ticket and come down to Walden Street, have a bite to eat, shop around and most importantly support Runway for Recovery. Get tickets here: ttps://runwayforrecovery.org/events/#Love-Local

Looking for a place to eat before the event? Grab a spot at Woods Hill Table, Fiorella’s, Adelita or 80 Thoreau who are all supporting Runway for Recovery on May 25.

Thank you to our top sponsors Barrett Sotheby’s International Realty, Harbor Capital , and 90+ wines for jumping on board and making this all possible.
