It’s time for the annual reading of Henry David Thoreau’s essay, “Wild Apples” at Walden Pond State Reservation, 1 p.m. in the Visitor Center. Join as a reader or if you just want to listen to Thoreau’s wonderful essay. Regular parking fees apply, except for readers. If you want to be a reader, email walden.programs@mass.gov. Apples will be provided for snack and inspiration.
