Bringing holiday cheer to Concord businesses, a group of dads from the Concord Family Network paraded through town last weekend, stopping at local bars and singing Christmas favorites.
“Our group is part of the Concord Family Network “, said Michael Julian, dressed like the others in Santa suits, except for one reindeer and two elves.
“Dad’s Night Out” is a subgroup of CFN,” added Julian, who is responsible for coordinating fun monthly activities for Concord Dads. “We have a list of 200 dads, and usually we get about 15 to show up to our monthly happy hours, kayaking events, etc.”
Stops included the Colonial Inn, Karma, Chang An, Fiorella’s, Nosh and Main Streets Market, among others.
“This SantaCon or SantaConcord is the second time, and we’re making it an annual tradition,” said Julian. “We go to as many bars as we can.”
