Last week Lola Van Duzer was browsing at the Friends of the Library book sale when she discovered a gift card in one of the books.
Rather than claiming “finders keepers,” the Concord-Carlisle High School senior handed the card to Friends treasurer Stephan Bader. Unless it’s claimed, proceeds from the card will be used to benefit library programs.
Lola said there was never a doubt in her mind about keeping the card for herself — after all, she’s been a Girl Scout for a dozen years.
