I was very pleased to learn that the prison would be closing. What a wonderful thing to know that Massachusetts has the lowest number of incarcerated people and one of the lowest crime rates (along with much of New England), meaning we no longer need this facility. Working with the state, the 62 acres should be plenty to offer Concord a mix of housing, open space and commercial uses. Let’s take our time to figure it out.
