Tracey Marano understands ‘the complexities of educating kids’

March 16, 2024

I am writing to support the re-election of Tracey Marano for School Committee. As a former educator and school leader, Tracey understands first hand the complexities of educating kids. Her insight into the challenges faced by students and educators, combined with her advocacy of programs that support academic and social-emotional growth, makes her an invaluable asset to the School Committee.

What stands out to me, from my perspective as vice president of the Alcott PTG, is Tracey’s leadership style. Each month at our PTG Presidents Meeting, I see Tracey’s informed and dedicated commitment to student success.  Her contributions at our monthly PTG President Meetings have been an invaluable source of guidance and support, and her commitment to students is evident. Not only does Tracey have years of experience in education, she has dedicated herself to serving the Concord community through a variety of leadership positions at Alcott, Concord Middle School, CCHS and with the Concord Education Fund. In these roles, she has worked successfully with students, parents, teachers and administrators.

Tracey Marano’s unwavering dedication to putting the needs of students first makes her an outstanding candidate for the School Committee. I encourage our community to support Tracey as she continues to advocate for an informed and engaged parent community.
