The Concord Bridge is pleased to announce two new editorial staff members and one promotion.
Celeste Katz Marston, who joined The Bridge eight months ago as news editor, has been promoted to managing editor. In her new role, she directs editorial coverage, assigns stories, and traces the progress and quality of submitted pieces and associated art for the print and digital editions.
“She has been doing an impressive job, and I’m pleased to have her leading the editorial team,” Bridge CEO Maile Hulihan said.
Katz Marston has covered local, state, and national news on the staff of media outlets including Newsweek, Condé Nast, the New York Daily News, and The Providence Journal.
She is a U.S. correspondent for Australian Broadcasting Corporation radio and a contributor to Nieman Reports, a journal of the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard. She has contributed reporting to The Boston Globe, NBC News, Hearst Magazines, and more.
Katz Marston, who lives in Concord, is a graduate of Brown University.
Beth A. Herman is a new assistant editor at the Bridge.
She is a veteran journalist, author, editor, copywriter, blogger, and Amazon #1 bestselling ghostwriter of more than 20 books.
Herman has written on topics ranging from lifestyle and design to business, finance, spirituality, and healthcare. Her features and profiles have appeared in The Washington Post, the Maine Sunday Telegram, the Cape Cod Times, and the Los Angeles Times Syndicate.
A Massachusetts native and Brandeis University graduate, Herman lives in coastal Maine.
Peter Farago is the new art and digital design director.
Farago studied graphic design at the University of Denver and has had a long and successful career in New York managing Farago Design on Fifth Avenue. His profile has appeared in outlets including Communications Arts, Ad Week, and The New York Times.
A Santa Fe, New Mexico resident, Farago is continually inspired by the Southwestern landscape.
