I am writing on behalf of my wife, Amy, and myself to express our enthusiastic support for Cameron McKennitt’s candidacy for the Concord Select Board.
Amy and I both grew up in Concord, and Cam and I were classmates at Peabody Middle School and CCHS, eventually returning to Concord to raise our families. What’s even more special is that both Amy’s parents and Cam’s parents still live here, providing us with a multi-generational perspective that enriches our connection to Concord even further.
Having known Cam for many decades, we can attest to his character, thoughtfulness, and his deep commitment to the Concord community. Throughout his professional career and through his civic engagement here in town, Cam has always exhibited an extraordinary talent for navigating and resolving issues with grace and diplomacy. He is a creative thinker, yet he is also practical. His approach to problem-solving showcases his sharp analytical mind and underscores his ability to build consensus among diverse groups. This is precisely the leadership we need for Concord.
Like Cam, we love this town and care deeply about its future. We trust Cam to approach the responsibilities of the Select Board with the kindness and level-headedness that he has always shown, and we have no doubt that he will make smart, responsible decisions that benefit the entire community. We will be voting for Cam on April 9 and we encourage our fellow Concordians to do the same.
