I have had the good fortune of knowing Andrew Herchek quite well for the past 10 years, and I was excited to learn from Andrew of his plans to run for the School Committee in Concord. I have great enthusiasm for Andrew’s candidacy because I believe he will be a thoughtful, dedicated, hard working member of a committee that is so important to our town. Andrew does not enter this process with a particular agenda, other than a desire to serve and help make our school system as strong as possible. I believe he will be a commonsense, data-driven, facts-based committee member who listens well and synthesizes complex information effectively. Andrew’s children are third-generation Concord public school students, and Andrew has a deep and abiding love for this town and its schools. Simply put, I think Andrew will be an outstanding addition to the Concord School Committee.
