Having served with Henry Dane on Concord’s 350th Anniversary Committee in 1985 and now with the Concord Civil War Monument Task Force in his capacity as the Select Board’s liaison, I value his commitment to governing well.
Throughout his tenure as member and chair of the Select Board, Henry consistently demonstrates an ability to patiently work toward sensible conclusions, while carefully avoiding a rush to judgment. This is an important leadership approach in dealing with daily business matters, most particularly controversial issues impacting Concord. He is always approachable and fully engaged in Concord affairs, and we are the beneficiaries of Henry Dane’s ongoing service to the citizenry of our town.
