Tracey Marano is a collaborative School Committee leader

March 22, 2024

In my nine years on the Bedford School Committee, including three terms as chairperson, Tracey Marano was the most exceptional and inspiring colleague I had the pleasure of collaborating with. Tracey is a natural leader and listener, has keen insights on the ins and outs of policy and best practices, and has a clear and consistent vision. Tracey has absolute command of the laws and policies of School Committee work, is always willing to lend her ear or her perspective to other members from other districts, and is a relentless advocate and ambassador for Concord-Carlisle. Tracey was instrumental in establishing a Chair’s Roundtable group for nine area School Committee chairs, which I benefited from participating in, and she led that group with incredible skill, humor, and focus. Concord-Carlisle is fortunate that Tracey is willing to continue her service and would unquestionably benefit from her ongoing leadership and stewardship. If I lived in Concord or Carlisle, I would be her biggest supporter.
