I’m writing to express my support for Tracey Marano for reelection to the School Committee. Her commitment to our community is exemplary. As someone who deeply values equity — as many in this town do — I’ve been impressed by Tracey’s relentless effort to ensure these principles guide our education system. Serving as chair of the DEI Subcommittee, and as a liaison to both the DEIB Strategic Steering Committee and the DEI Commission of Concord, plus her involvement with the CCTA Diversity in Hiring Committee, Tracey has been instrumental in advancing an inclusive and equitable environment within our schools. Her work in DEI, while significant, is just one aspect of her broad contributions. However, it’s her leadership in this area that I find most compelling. There’s still much work to be done to foster true belonging in our schools, and Tracey’s continued presence on the School Committee is crucial for this journey.
